Anyone bought a Refurbished Canon Digital camera before?

Just wondering if anyone bought refurbished Canon digital camera before? Does it look brand new like what you would buy at Best or FS? Thx

Usually all stores have them but not every model or brand only certain limited quantities and they usally sell them at a cheaper price because they had been returned to the manufacturer due to some sort of problem(s).

Refurbs are just re-built back to spec with new parts is it not?

At my store we sold refurb XTi's and G9's last year and haven't had a single one come back. As far as I know Canon refurbs only offer a 90 day warranty vs 1 year.

Never bought a refurbed dslr, but I did but a A40 refurb in 2003 and it lasted longer than most of my non refurb cams. In fact, it still works great to this day.

ive purchased refurb direct from canon before...a canon tx1. no problems
