Beyond CSI Help - Roofer gone bad: "Just in Time Roofing" and "JT Contracting"

Need some help from Beyond CSI. My retired parents and a few of their neighbours hired a roofer who we suspect has skipped town. Now my parents have a roof without any shingles and a big garbage bin on their drive way and can't park their car into the garage.

Here's what we know:
1) His name is Justin Todd. Possibly married or some how associated to Jennifer Hubley or Jennifer Rose Hubley.
2) He has a company called "Just in Time Roofing" and "JT Contracting".
3) The address of the company 5431 Rundleview Rd. NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 1J7. We believe he has moved out and doesn't live there anymore.
4) The address is also tied to a company called "Wally's Bobcat Service" but I don't think they are related companies..... I think that address is a rental and they both happened to rent the same house over 2 different periods of time.
5) Phone numbers for the company are:
454-2881
481-6731
Both are disconnected.

The mobile number (he never picks up):
481-9937


Anyone know where or how I can get a hold of this loser? My parents and their neighbours thank you in advance.

Go to the address of the company and camp out till someone shows up, That's what I would do i something like that happened to my rents.

Somebody else got owned by Just In Time Roofing. My advice is just to take it to court right away, that is where you are going to end up anyways.

Yah, I was talking to my dad yesterday and obviously people are pissed. We want to take him to court but we need an address to serve the loser.

That Rundleview addy is not his anymore. My dad is going to call the numbers InRich provided (Thank you) and see what happens. I'm pissed - scammers are crap, but when you steal from fixed income, retired folks, that's a completely different deal.......

"Justin Todd - boss got lost on way to high river smokes 4 grams of weed in two hrs trying to find it and still managed to slam on 65 bundles today 800 dollaer day sweet and billie if your listening im on my way"



OP, you should change the title of your thread to include his business' name, might help get the word out if this guy is indeed a scammer.

Did they pay him any money in advance? If so, that's pre-paid contracting and he's required to post a bond. If he hasn't done that, he can be in a lot of trouble.

Either way it sounds like a violation of the Fair Trading Act. Contact Service Alberta, Consumer Services Branch and make a complaint. If he can be found, they will likely get your money back.
