The tournament rules are different this time. Below is a copy and paste.

There are 3 groups of 4 teams:

Group 1: Canada, USA, Switzerland, Norway

Group 2: Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia

Group 3: Sweden, Finland, Belarus, Germany

Each team plays 3 games, one against each of the other teams in their group. The top 4 teams (3 group winners plus the best runner-up) get a bye to the playoff round. Then, the remaining 8 teams (ranked by group rank, total points, and goal differential) are seeded against each other in a "secondary round" for the right to play in the playoff round.

Got the first two through work.. then I have been hunting on Kijiji for the other quarter final. Ended up paying $450/seat for Cat A! Pretty smoking deal I think... (Most others were 600per for Cat C)

    My medal prediction:

    Gold - Russia
    Silver - Canada
    Bronze - Finland

Russia is a scary team. They can probably score at will.

Picked up tickets to Quarter Final #2 (if Canada makes it this far they will play in this game) today. They weren't cheap but they should be worth it.
