    Default funnel cakes

Anyone know where you can get funnel cakes in Calgary? Just saw them on T.V and they look good (other than the stampede)

Dunno where to buy them, but here's a relatively quick and easy recipe!

    Ingredients
    2 cups self-rising flour
    4 tablespoons sugar
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    1-1/4 cups milk
    1 egg

    Directions
In large bowl, place dry ingredients, whisk to blend
Add egg and milk, whisking thoroughly
Drop from funnel into hot oil in small frying pan, and fry until golden brown
    Remove, drain on paper towel
    Dust with powdered sugar

Beaver tails are delicious but I only ever saw them when I went to Sunshine Village on the ski out.

Have you tried that recipe gts?
