Motorola V70 does anyone own?

i think it was girlracer you posted you got one, or anyone that owns one of these phones, are you all with cantel AT&T? im with telus and i want one of these phones, how would i go about getting one? buy it straight from motorola? and do you switch from digital to analog or are you restricted to citys only?

well of all the people I know who have them, I think they all suck signal wise...GSM or not...I hear the shittiest quality over the waves from those phones...Signal cuts in and out...its scratchy...nice phone...bad network...

The v70 works good for me Nobody complains about it being bad signal when I use it, although I am on Fido and not Rogers.

well i have the v60, i love it but my antena is bent and i really hate that rogers has a solid one and telus has a retractable one.

but ya....that sucks ill wait for telus's next sweet phone

I asked some telus guy and they said they will get a new Samsung flip phone soon in sept , they dont know how much but its gonna be like the v60 or the LG w/ dual display

You can buy the phone from Wireless wave but it is only available with Rogers at this time. The cost is $525 on a 2-year contract, $650 on a 1-year contract, and $750 to buy it straight out. However, I wouldn't recommend using the phone on the Rogers GSM network. I have no reception anywhere and it constantly cuts out. The phone itself has clear voice quality and the phone is reliable but the network is crap. I would suggest using the phone with Fido which means buying an unlocked phone like Kenny did on Ebay. The cost to unlock a phone in Canada is about $200/phone so it is a better deal to just buy it unlocked already.

agree. my mom just got her new 8390 GSM and she couldn't get more than "block in our basement ( when i have full on my LG w/ telus)
