Default Flying to Thailand.. how much should I pay?

    Hey,

I am flying from Calgary to Bangkok on June 10th returning on July 22nd. Flights are about $1400 with tax at the moment.

Is this a fair price for this flight?
Anyone else sourced a better deal, and where?

    Thanks!

    Sounds reasonable to me.

Costs change depending on dates / holidays / how far in advance you're booking - all sorts of variables so it's pretty tough to answer that with a yes or no.

your dates are quite aways away, i would just keep checking the following sites or subscribe tot hem and then snag a deal when you like the price

    try bookingbuddy.com
    kayak.com

Do you think I would be better off booking a one way ticket there, and then booking my return ticket from within Thailand? Would I save any money

its all depends really. it could be more. if you find seat sales yes it would be cheaper. Your not staying for too long i would just book a return flight too.

It sounds pretty reasonable, my buddy booked a round trip for $1250 he left end of January.
