Toshiba A50 laptop
- Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz CPU
- 256MB DDR RAM
- NO HARD DISK
- Wireless G
- Windows XP Pro key
- Monitor NOT WORKING

Inverter problem so the LCD has no display when laptop is turned on. However, when connected to external VGA monitor, everything works fine. Hard disk has been removed.

damn it, i really need this laptop. my laptop busted and i have to share with the pc with my bro. with these parts i think i can fix my old toshiba laptop. im gettin someone to fix it for me and if i dont need the cpu, ill give it to you hampstor. (if calgaryrav4 gives the laptop to me)

I think I've got a laptop cpu or 2 lying around... let me know what you need. Also I might have some parts still for an A50, what do you need? Maybe even an inverter... I'll have to check.

*Edit*... spoke a little too soon. Not much left of the A50, think I threw most of it out during the 'stop being a f*(%ing packrat' phase. But still a few bits.

Also the cpu I have is a 1.5GHz Pentium M.

I also have a Laptop Pentium Dual Core T3200 if anyone's interested.

Anyone else got a laptop with a bum LCD?

I'm trying to cram the guts from a laptop into a Commodore 64 chassis, and then build one of the many boards that allows you to use the C64 keyboard through USB. However, I need a laptop motherboard to do so.
