PS3 8001050F error

EDIT: if your trophy for the game is missing (like mine), start the game again and it will install the trophy set again, then quit to XMB then highlight trophy, press triangle and sync to server, your trophies should be back.

I haven't come across a site to mention that this is fixed. You just have to test yourself.

well my ps3 is off, i only use it as a blue ray player. i do all the gaming on my 360.

i was just hoping a news site had the story so i could get info about it, and last page someone had mentioned CNN had a story on it, but i could not find it

actually, I did, I just went to CNN.com and tried searching within their site for the error code, ps3, ect, and nothing came up, but thanks for looking over my shoulder and knowing what I was trying to do.

Slow news day. This thing was highlighted coverage on Fox news. They were warning people not to turn on their PS3 as if it were a ticking time bomb. Of course the reaction from people were dramatic, as if they were refused access to a child. Thank goodness I got the 250gb slim, no hyper-ventilating for me.

I doubt they did anything to fix it. They just waited for the day to be over so the system could correct itself. That said I have a slim so whatevs.
