PS3 8001050F error

Apparently tons of PS3 users are having this error (mostly phat models) as of today, any beyonders got hit? I got a 60GB model and still works fine, for now (been powered on since the morning). I'm afraid to turn it off.

My ps3 was working fine until just over two months ago when I attempted to install Linux on it. Now it cant obtain an I.P. address with Linux or the ps3 operating system. Its been disconnected since then. Mine is one of the few over priced ones that first came out

Yup, should have stayed online with friend. Played RE5 DLC, friend got trophy but I didn't (got the error). Shutdown and restarted then got the error now. Can't do anything.

FML....COD2 withdrawal...

But the one positive, FINALLY opened cod4 which I bought on boxing day now that I can't play mw2... (story mode works at least haha!)

Nope, played like 30 minutes ago trying multiple games. Stil the same thing...only certain games (like COD4 single player/NHL 10 offline...seem to work).
