    Default ceramic coating question

I'm havign all my engine parts ceramic coated then polished, i realsie that the polishing will lower the thermal efficiency of the pieces but here's what I'm wondering...by ceramic coatign all my parts (valve cover, intercooler piping, heat shield, throttle body) am I trapping heat inside that shoudl be escaping?

Ceramic does not conduct heat very well, if it does get hot it cools down very quickly. I would assume, and I stress assume, that it would keep things marginally cooler than hotter.
