HT is 25 year old ex student. Wants to talk to the principal about an injury he holds the school responsible for.

Hostages are 40yr old secretary and 13 year old boy. Boy is fine, but secretary has leg injury of some sort

Police say former student who was holding secretary at knifepoint at Calgary junior high school has been taken into custody.

Calgary police Inspector Frank Reuser earlier said a 25-year-old man was holding the woman in the office of the school and officers are currently in the same room talking to him.

Insp. Reuser says the former student appears to be angry over an injury he suffered in the past and he blames school officials.

All students from A.E. Cross Junior High School, at 37 Street and 33 Avenue, were moved to nearby Glenbrook School, police spokeswoman Emma Poole said.
