    That sucks man.

Just curious, does your car have an alarm on it?

FYI next time you do an install, take a felt pen or an engraver and stick your Alberta DL on the $$ components.

The police come across stolen property all the time but most of the time it never gets returned because of no identification (eg. no SN provided).

Doubt you'll find it but good luck!

I wouldn't justify getting an alarm for that stuff though. Alarm will run you around ~300-500 installed, while that stereo you had was cheap as shit.

Whats the deductible for a broken glass or a broken door lock? Add damaged interior components as well.

Now add the time without a vehicle (if it needs repairs) and alarms start to make a lot of sense.

Alarm wont keep your window from getting busted out. If its a deterent, then just run some cheap LEDs.

Some thieves will bump a vehicle to see there is a "warn away" feature, which means an alarm.. and they will move on to easier targets.

No, alarms wont stop a bunch of kids from throwing a brick through your window for kicks.

Lights are good too.... anything is better than nothing.
