iPod Touch Bricked? Help!

It keeps looping between three screens (apple logo screen, the connect to itunes screen and the big battery bar showing low battery) every time I turn it on or try to get into restore mode.

I've tried the hold down sleep key and home key together to get into recovery mode, does not work.

The main problem I realized is that my PC AND iTunes won't even recognize the device being connected. Googled everything I could find and still no luck. Tried different USB ports and USB cables as well.

I'm really hoping somehow knows how to fix this and could help me out.

plug it in to ur pc while its off and see what happens

USB device not recognized.

Thats the same message I always get when I plug it in.

Putting it into restore mode won't even get it recognized, neither will DFU mode.

i either got mine wet, or ran it over.... dunno.... but after that it kept locking and unlocking itself till it died.... so i thought it was dead for sure

then i kinda just forgot about it for a while and then one day it just worked perfect again

^ damn... that's lucky... I honestly don't know if I'll ever get this thing to work.

Day two... still a no-go. I really don't need such an expensive paper weight.

the same thing happened to me to my ipod touch. i tried paying someone to fix it, he couldnt fix it. so i just sold it to him for like 50 bucks for parts. i tried to fix it for like 2-3 months, i just ended up buying a new one
