Monitor wont suspend when connected to laptop
I have an Acer monitor, it is connected to my laptop via standard monitor cable.
On a desktop, when your computer suspends.. so should your monitor..? at least go into some state of power down mode.
When my laptop suspends/sleeps my monitor stays fully powered but just flashes "cable not connected".
Is there some setting I can change or do to have the monitor power down/suspend as well?
