what would you do?

ok heres the situation...

i got a 88 crx, im satisfied with it, i was planning to do a b20 swap with the b16 vtec head, you know the whole set up i can get all the parts for it too... but Im a drift dreamer, i love to drift and also want to get a FR... i was thinking 240 sx coupe, FC3S, or a AE86... (best drifters in the world)... but i only have enough $ for one option, so its either build a crazy REX or indulge in my drift infatuation... what would you guys do?

oh yeah if i grab a drifter ill probably keep it stock... for the time being....
what do you guys think?

Imho, I'd go 240. Decent stock engine, factory LSD's, easier to find than a good Hachi..

There's not many times a drifter can go drifting... so if you can only afford one car, go for the CRX. You'll enjoy it way more.

i'd go with the fc... 2nd choice would be 240...

Rage2 makes a good point, when are you going to be drifting? My FC is fun for the winter and all, but I wouldn't spend my money on a car thinking I could drift it all the time. IMO stick with what you've got, and it out

that doesnt contribute to this at all...

apex as rage said, how often will you go out drifting...you gotta weight that into it... the 240 has big potential, and you could buy the car, save up, and start doing stuff to it later on...but a crx with engine swap and a few other goodies, might have it as good quick street car...i dunno, just really think how much drifting you will be doing.

yeah that is true... i really wont get many chances to drift... unless i head out to the track... damn!... ok lets make this easier keep the crx, get the swap or just get a better car like one of the 240's, or FC's... screw the drifting.... should i just get a better car?

u wont be doing much drifting with a stock corolla. the suspension is too soft and the lack of lsd makes drifting very difficult at best.

should you get a better car? yes, but will a stock 240 be better than a b20 crx... i dont know. you will have to decide.

id leave it between a 240 and the B20 powered crx, if strictly want an FR, then id say a S13, out of the lot u said, but im a lil biased being a nissan lover myself

91-95 240 sx good choice i cant agree anymore great price ,fun, powerful difficult to get turn saftly on snow drifter car man !
