Yeah, the road bike was all I touched last year. But I decided I only want a single bike now, and the MTB is the most versatile.

You more of a trail rider or dabble more on the DH side?
Also, seeing as you obviously must have liked the road side, ever looked into Cyclocross?

I busted my hub a few days after I wrote that. I bought a new wheel. I'm in the process of getting new derailleur, shifter, cassette and chain. Gonna see how good I can get this bike to run.

just got a Iron Horse 3.0 Sachem for a good price

needs some TLC (brake levers, chain replaced, crankset/crankarm replaced, minor tune-up)

dropped it to Eurotech Cycle yesterday, will not get to ride it until next weekend unfortunately


planning to buy a road bike as well this summer, hopefully I can ride up to Airdrie, Strathmore for starter, my goal would be Banff
