    It was on Kijiji twice!

I sold it on Sunday and the new owner didn't love it so he resold it on Tuesday after a couple of rides. I half debated buying it back because it was such a great ride, but trying to thin down the fleet.

It fits 42C studded tires and made easy work out of most paths. Attachment 91980
    what was the frame size?

I've been looking for a 2013 Rove forever. Didn't even see this one pop up on Kijiji. Is that where you got it?
Kijiji and Facebook. Got lucky today and beat everyone to it.
It is a 53cm if you want it I might be open to sell it to a fellow beyonder as I also have enough bikes but always wanted to try a Rove out.
If I like it I might end up buying a newer one with a 1x10 or 1x11 setup anyway.

@taemo , did you check the chainring before you ordered one? It comes with 36/46t stock
Yup, hoping to ride it over the weekend/next week to see how I like 46t as I'm thinking of changing my road bike to 46t.
Surprised how light the Rove is though, it felt lighter than the DrDew so I want to compare my commute time next week

the guy seems to have kept the other wheel set as he sold it only with the 700x28c wheels.
If I decided on keeping this, I might try fit my studded 26" wheels in it or buy 700x40 for winter.

The new ones have different geometry and now have 650B wheels vs 700c on the steel version.

Just finished a pretty fun build (just in time for crap weather):

    Marinoni steel frame + fork
126mm rear spacing, stretched a bit to fit a 130mm wheel
Threaded headset converted to 1 1/8" stem
Shift bosses on the downtube to accept index brifters
2x9 Ultegra drivetrain (using an Italian thread Octalink Shimano BB)
    Ritchey Stem and Bars

I went from zero to three since the pandemic.

Restored two from the beginning; red Norco roadie just needed a tune up and new tires

I'm sure we'll get a decent warm day this year yet for me to take it for a rip. I should probably do a nut and bolt check before riding it and adding loctite to the BB (because it's right hand thread on both sides). Have to pick up some Boeshield T9 to protect the frame also. Should be a pretty fast ride with those wheels. Wouldn't mind a 2x10 or 2x11 setup so the shifter cables are routed under the bar tape, but considering I had got a full 2x9 ultegra groupset for super cheap it's a decent compromise. Should climb relative well too as it's pretty light and has a 39-30 (or 32?) for smallest gear.

Just glad I was able to finish the orange MTB before snowfall. Just need to finish printing decals and good to go.

    2018 Trek Session 8

Put over 4000km on it this season, still rides like a dream. Thinking of getting a Slash as well instead of pedalling this beast up for climbs.

Wife’s still just as good as well.

Picked up a 2007 litespeed teramo for my wife to do some brick training, likely overpaid ($1250) but wanted to get something before all the new year people jump on the bandwagon again. It’s nicer than my cannondale, and we actually found a frame size that fit her so chalk that up as a win. Now we have to track down a decent deal on a fluid trainer, proving harder than expected for under $300.

nice, titanium bikes are so much fun and holds value quite a bit.
~1200$ is fair value for that, 2x9 Ultegra groupset?

It’s a 3 cogger, but should be good as my wife learns the bike, full ultegra beats the hell out of my tiagra stuff

    nice, I actually like 3x9.
my argon titanium originally came with one 52/42/30 with 12-25 cassette and had some good gear range, upgraded it to 2x11 this summer but now understand why triple crankset is revered for touring

Will definitely be spending winter getting stamina up to do some longer rides this summer. Were it not for covid, our bricks would be up at 5 hours now, sadly the 3 hour zoom sessions just aren’t the same.

The old Ultegra stuff is great. I've got a 2x9 setup on my Marinoni and it shifts buttery smooth still. A Ti frame is generally worth upgrading too once you wear out the drivetrain. It'll have 130mm hub spacing, so you can slap a 2x11 setup plus some higher end wheels on it no problem and have a fantastic modern road bike.

Talking about Ti.. Since I have been so in love with cycling for the last 2-3 years; I decided to get a gravel bike. I initially had an OPEN UP frame but the frame I got had a "dent" on the top tube. Very noticeable, sadly. They sent a replacement frame and it had the exact same problem. So we returned it and after waiting for 3 months, this finally arrived:

Seatpost is actually too high on that picture lol and I just finished the bike fit and adjustments were made. The wait was so worth it and the craftsmanship is just amazing. Very happy. Can't wait for the season to start!

^sweet, what groupset are you running on it?

I'm on a quest for a Rove Titanium, seems hard to find but not in any rush, having lots of fun with this anyway

today is probably the last ride with this for the year, heard 20cm+ of snow coming soon.
upgrading it to Shimano 1x11 over winter from Sram 1x10

Thanks! Mullet bike, SRAM Force AXS at the front, SRAM Eagle XX1 AXS at the back. 1x12. I will be doing a few more upgrades on the next couple of years, going to try to make it as light as it can be.

I have 650b wheels on it right now but plan to change it with Hunt's (will probably sell the current wheels here before the season starts, we'll see lol).

Nice man! Love the setup. Ti bikes are so nice. I have not ridden for a while for the last months because of shit I have to do here at home. But going to get back on it after Christmas. You plan to do some bikepacking? Or does anyone plan to or has done any?
