Default plumbing on an acerage farm

Quick question for the guys that know plumbing. I would like to know if it is possible to make an addtional bathroom in the basement on an acerage? Currently the house has one bathroom on the main level and the septic tank is located outside of the house on ground level. The thing im trying to figure out is, how would I have a drain in the washroom in the lower level and have it force water/waste (upwards) since the septic tank is located on ground level? thanks

I'm not a plumber, but I believe the use of a sanitary sump pump is how it's done in a situation like that.

Calgary is so much like an iphone: iCalgary - There's a bylaw for that.

Have you thought of the alternative to roughing in new plumbing? Why don't you get a macerating pump? One unit can handle the toilet, sink and shower. A lot easier to install, and it almost guarantees that your toilet never plugs again.

    Quick note:
Don't drive ATV's or vehicles except law tractors over your septic field. Or else, it'll be a shitty cleanup.
Neighbours did this for years and eventually it all came back into the house.
Also clean your septic tank out. Another neighbour didn't know you had to do this. Plugged after 15 years and they had pay a crew to go in with jackhammers to clean it up.
