I ride an Outlaw 525S. I didn't end up making it out, just stayed in the garage and worked on the car instead. My truck is being a ford so I have to fix up the car so I can work on the truck haha.Originally posted by Boosted131
what do you ride again? I'm usually out riding every weekend, but not this one for obvious reasons
Quoted time of a 4 weeks has now turned into 9 weeks minimum. Which means nothing will be installed until October.Originally posted by FraserB
Time to fix the Hi-Lift and make sure I don't mess it up again.
And bought a mystery mod. Will probably take a month.
Can't wait to see the truck Sugarphreak. I'll be looking for a review since I would like to have my new brush guard done.

We were at McLean as well, no real issues actually a lot drier than we had thought it would have been out there.

Ouch no fun, shoot me an email/PM if I can help Fraser!Originally posted by FraserB
Seriously the last time I give a single penny to a Canadian supplier. From now on out, I'll buy in the US even if it winds up costing more.
Ordered the bumper on May 9 and quoted 4 weeks for it to be in, fuck all for communication on their part except for when I call them. I had to keep on them trying to get a date. Finally, 8 weeks after ordering, they admit that the bumper is not even at their US warehouse. They have to call the manufacturer to see what’s up, the same one I talked to last week and got told that the bumper would have shipped to the vendor a week after they received the order. Earliest they will be able to contact the manufacturer is Monday, because of the US long weekend.
Thanks Jay,
Have to see what they say on Monday. Since I leave for work soon, I doubt much will get installed before I get back at the end of October.

I'm back in town 13th and 14th if anyone wants to go for a ride. I haven't had the quad out since may.
Life is too short to drive boring cars.
Likely down for that!
I'll be out a Mclean the 13th, probably about 5pm though.

It’s the Rockhard bumper with tire carrier, one of like three companies that makes a rear bumper for a Grand Cherokee and even fewer companies that carry it. I’m sure it’s just some mixup, but I’m more irritated about the lack of telling me that it would be later; even if I get a break on the total order, I’d rather have the bumper.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
That is BS dude
Seriously, just go online and order from Summit, JEGS, or 4wheelparts
ANd thisis pretty much the only place in Canada to get one, unless I go direct to Rockhard and pay ridiculous freight.

Was out at McLean last night, the falls are toast, as well as some of the far back trails on that end. Lots of trails have run off and have been made harder. Top of the world and the whole fisher east trail that laps around the lake are fine though. Put on 76 km without getting stuck for once
I'll have to bring my rope because my mudlites are on backorder haha. Runnin the Maxxis Rzr 2's that came with it.Originally posted by Boosted131

If possible, please keep the damage to stream crossings to an absolute minimum. There is NO need to give'er when crossing a stream. Also remember that if SRD and Fish and Wildlife see extensive use and damage at washed out bridges they may close all of McLean...keep your wits about you if your going to use the land.
So the bumper should be here on the 22nd, they are shipping it directly from Rockhard to Northridge. I guess the ordering method that Stan has to use is convoluted and the purchasing people in the US never placed the order since they didn't have a part number in their system, at the same time they never bothered to tell anyone this. Took Northridge Canada, Northridge USA and Rockhard all comparing records to figure out what happend.
Shit happens and both Rockhard and Stan @ Northridge have been great to deal with once they figured out what happened. Just have to hussle and get it installed before I leave for work.

Damn, that Rockhard bumper is pretty reasonably priced compared to the Hanson. Looks darn good, too.
