3M clear hood protection (film)

I am looking to purchase 3M clear hood protection (film type) for a new civic ...

Can someone recommend me a preferred place?
Looking to purchase ASAP ...

So far quotes have been $500-$700 ... and these are dealer prices ...

Shadow Tint and Tinting Illusions both do the 3M Clear Shield I beleive ~$500 seems about right to get the hood and front bumper wrapped.

ICON Auto Tint is the only one I deal for 3m and tint, Damien always honores any imperfections that might show up later in time, highly recomend them.

kind of off topic but since we are talking about new car protection. Did you purchase undercoating / rust / paint / interior through the dealer? or did you find a place elsewhere? - But I did my 3m through Damien at Icon Tinting in the pass as well.

Also recommendations would be nice - I need this done.

If your car is white, don't do it. I have been regretting it everyday. (done through dealer)

I opted in for the undercarriage spray. I live on dirt road, plus the noise reduction was amazing!

I got my undercoating/rust/paint/3M protection through the dealer. But I got my tinting at Autotech and I will be getting them to redo my front Bumper 3M soon. If the dealer is going to throw it in, great. If they want you to pay for it, go to a private shop because they outsource most of these services to these shops.

Dealer quote are usually bad because they want their cut.

500-700 quoted was just hood right?

Most will do full front for that price.
