Wink How can I fill my holes before vinyl wrap

I am testing out a new product on the market, some carbon fiber vinyl wrap that was just brought to Canada.

I just got my spoiler removed by screaming paint works and there is around 13ish holes in my drunk, the biggest is the size of a nickle.

I was wondering what I can do other then get them welded because idont have time for that my appointment to have my vehicle wrapped is on Thursday and I'm not gonna use bodyfiller because it will fall through sooner then later.

My first idea was to use a aluminum inforced duct tape to cover the holes and i was gonna hope the bumps wernt to visable.

(note: alot of the holes can't be accessed from underneith.

    Any ideas?

There is self-adhesive foil repair tape you can use. Crappy tire sells it.

I wouldn't trust it, or anything else besides welding to hold forever through...

tac something on the underside, like a small piece of aluminum or steel doesnt really matter it would be best to tac it on but if u would like u can use duct tape lol then use bondo on the other side! done!

This stuff is 450 ish for the hood
and trunk that includes labour u can get Less expensive stuff but I choose this stuff cause it's an actual 3d grid like real carbonfiber.

The thing is I don't expect it to last more then 2 years so that self adhesive foil repair stuff might be the thing

the thing is I can't tak the holes from behind cause most of the holes can't be reached from behind.

I'm gonna take a look though home depot and crappy tire tonight see what kinda strong adhesives they have to use. But any other Ghetto rigid ides would be usefull, I'm willing to use anything even mixtures of tapes and glues haha!

Why not spend a bit more and get a carbon fiber hood/trunk?
    Life is a Gamble.

If you put the aluminum tape on the top side, it might work, but could show the outline once the vinyl wrap has been done.

Further it may not be strong enough and if accidentally poked could result in your trunk having holes again.

Why not go buy a new trunk lid?

You could always spray expandable foam into the lid, and then bondo over it (ie. less likely for the bondo to break inward over time)

Expandable foam, Thats an idea!! What is that stuff called I used it once before.

And I don't wanna get a carbon fiber hood and trunk because I'm not gonna race this car other then running it a couple times on the track an I don't plan keeping this car for that long either so don't want to invest any big money plus this is just a cheaper way of fixing the major rock chips on the hood and back of the trunk.

if its gonna be wrapped, why not see if any late model wreckers have a spoilerless trunk in stock and buy that?

yea what I meant, buy a "hole-less" trunk lid and get that wrapped.

Nobody wants to buy a car with a trunk full of holes anyhow, unless it's for project work.

Is it the 3M carbon wrap? From what I've seen, it looks a bit cheezy.....
