apparently another suicide...still hearing bits and pieces about what happened.
Yeah I just saw this on Twitter it's trending in Calgary right now. Bad news for gun ranges I suppose.
Fawk... morons. IF someone pulls this stunt, they should just bury the idiot out behind the range and not publicize it lol
It's what I tell my dyno customers.... I'll only say it once... dont stand near the car or the wheels during a pull. If you do, and are injured, to avoid injury lawsuit, I'll kill ya myself and bury you out back

anyway seems like there was one employee in the vicinity but no customers.
There were a few customers, but not nearby...they ushered the customers out the door quickly. No one even knew what had happened. An unmarked Crown Vic came speeding into the parking lot about that time.Originally posted by ArjayAquino

I'm quite surprised that the media actually does this. Nicely surprised. A sad story from my little world:Originally posted by kokanee27

This happened just last week. I have been doing work for a contractor friend of mine who I've known for over 8 years. I'm in the middle of 3 jobs for him right now as a matter of fact. On the Friday we were talking about what was to be done Monday, etc etc. Monday morning rolls around and I phone him but his voice mailbox is full. So I text him..."Shaun, pick up your phone". Nothing. an hour later I get an email from his wife sent to all his contacts..."if anyone has seen him please call the Police. He is missing."
Apparently, he was in an accident on the Sat night. Wife took him to the hospital as he was in "major shock", so she said. Sunday morning he checks himself out with no wallet, phone, or keys........
Monday, mid-morning, they found him out at the Springbank golf course hanging from a tree. Only 37, very nice family, thriving business....I don't know what he must have been going through. No one saw this coming at all. I'm currently helping his wife sort out the many jobs that are ongoing. Not to mention all the money that's now tied up with the banks and probate lawyers. I'm out a few grand because of it.
Please spare me the "what a selfish act, what a jerk...blah blah blah.." We know all that. Its just sad that a person is that depressed that they feel the only way out is suicide. No one can know the pain they're in. Depression is a real illness. I can't imagine his final thoughts. He left behind a wonderful family.
Thoughts go out to the family of this latest suicide as well.
Go and take the PAL and do it out in the field you inconsiderate fucks
