could you please clarify this - the data sheet says the front right intercooler is damaged; front right fender damaged/repainted, front bumper damaged/repainted .... that seems like it was in a front-end accident, no?

No this car has never been into a accident! I have no idea how it happen, I'd just found out when I took it for an inspection. I was told it could be cause by a rock hit it at high speed? However that can happen. Also apparently the front right fender and front bumper has been repainted somehow!?!? Because it was due to spotted rock chips that you could barely see until you put your nose up to the car, with a flash light against it! I was furious when I found out!

How does a rock chip damage the fender and the fender liner?

The signs are pretty clear, if the oil cooler on the right side appears to be bent and the right fender and bumper have been repainted/replaced, then it's pretty obvious that it was a decent size hit.

The inspection sheet says APPEAR TO be repainted and not replaced. There's a difference, if the wording "APPEAR TO" was not there. I know for the fact that this that car has not been into an accident since the day that I purchased this car from Bavaria BMW. I am not the first owner.

And for the front bumper, they did not give me a reason how it has been repainted! Just because the oil cooler was bent, I assumed they assumed the front bumper was repainted or what not.

windsheild for this car is well over 1500 due to the rain sensors(had to get mine replaced)no one replaces the bumper/fender because of a rock chip... oil cooler is bent because it has obviously hit something. dont try to say it hasnt been in an accident because the oil cooler doesnt get bent from a rock chip. post up a carfax with the vin# showing on it.
