Free parking around Rockyview?

Anyone know the status on free parking near Rockyview?

Is this the area to park? How do I drive into that area though, because from google maps, it doesn't look like it connects?

on 14th st northbound, when you come up to glenmore trail west or eastbound, there is a lane that will allow you to go back to 14th street southbound. take it. the turn off for the dam road is right there.
