Default How do these California fast food burger joints rank?

I'm going to Anaheim with my wife and kids and was thinking of trying a few different burger places while down there - specifically ones that we don't have up here. I have a list of 4 different places I've either seen advertised or read about. How would you rank them in terms of "gotta try"? Pick your top two choices.....

at sonic, you can only eat it in your car, which sucks IMO. last thing I want is a bunch of salt, grease, and ketchup rubbed into my suede seats.

    in-n-out FTW.

I liked Carl's Jr....I went to one in Arizona and they had some spicy stuff which was awesome. They also serve the food to your table if you order 'to stay'.

Well...I had all 4 when down in vegas. In-n-out was pretty good. Kind of like homestyle. I really enjoyed carls junior. Sonic is cheap and decent. Jack in the box is cheap and decent as well. Try em all. You'll spend like 80 bucks tops if u eat all 4 with the family well worth it.

Funny you ask, because I've been to every single one of those you mentioned.

In-N-Out is handsdown the best of those listed. Their burgers are the best I've had in a fast food joint and their shakes wash them down nicely. I love going there whenever I head to Vegas.

Sonic has good drinks but below-average sandwiches. All Sonics are modeled after a 50s style drive-in, so you can't eat in, and there is always an awkward pause after you get your food while the server waits for her 'tip'. It's reason I avoid that place since I'm not accustomed to tipping for fast food. Their fruit drinks are pretty good but that's all I'd want to get if I'm in the neighborhood.

Carl's Jr. has some good burgers too, and probably the most original out of the bunch. Their "six dollar burgers" aren't the usual fast-food type affair and combine high quality ingredients and toppings you won't find in a typical fast food joint.

Jack-in-the-box? Not really anything special. Other than the novelty of going there, it's an average burger.

In-n-out is sooo fucking good! I could eat a million burgers from that place haha.

Carls Jr. is damn good as well, nothin beats the six dollar burger and its size. They also offer Carb low burgers which are decent as well.

Sonic, i prefer their desserts especially the ones that contain ice cream of some sort.

Jack in the box, tried it once and it sucked!

    Carl's Jr and In-N-Out FTW.

Jack-in-the-Box is so gross and I've never been to Sonic's.

I only picked Carl's Jr. They've got the best out of that lot... but really, you want to check out Five Guys (as long as none of your family has peanut allergies)

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Never, ever eat @ Jack in the Box man didnt people die there in the 90's>>>>>>????
Carl's Jr ..Double Jalapeno Burger FTW you have to go there.

Ive never tried In and Out but thats it I am going when I visit the folks next, in Arizona.

Sonic is pretty good, its Retro and I like that but the food is meh.
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Carl Jr is definitely worth checking out as well. Sonic is a waste. JitB is nothing special.

    In-N-Out Burger

Was there for the California SAE competition and we ate it for lunch and dinner 5 days straight. I wish I could eat a double double right now with a huge Pink Lemonade.

I f'ing love that place. ALmost worth going to the states just for that. Pretty much pick anything you want, and add franks red hot to it, and you have their menu. It's fan-foo-goo-tastic,

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned but when you go to In-N-Out make sure to get your fries `animal style`.

Animal style burger and animal fries. So unhealthy but soo good.
