Yep. GT-Wings.
People either love them or hate them, no in between.
Even if they are justified as being a functional "track-use" modification, there will still be both lovers and haters.
I'm with the school of thought that believes that at the end of the day, to each their own. riced does not owe anyone any explanation whatsoever for why he added the wing to his car - especially not if it makes him happy.
Yeah. I even snicker at cars I see at the road which I think are "rice" and some of them might be even worth a photo on my blackberry. Worth running home to post about on beyond.ca? Naw.
Plus, this is a car enthusiast forum. We're all ricers! (Yes, I have a J's Wing on my s2000).
I got a HUGGGEEE DC5 wing on my sedan, and i plan to get a bigger one on mine, and I'm asian too.. WOW it all fits in!!
It's all for style and looks. You dont like it? who cares, there's no need to make a big deal out of it and generalize other people.
Keeping it rice since 2005.

I think the term "racism" is absolutely the wrong term to use in this situation. A racist is someone who hates another race..to the point of slandering/murder/whatever (KKK, etc)
Some people get so offended when someone observes someone else as black or brown or azn or whatever. How is that different then calling someone "that redhead" or "the tall guy" its just a method of classification...we as humans are very visual creatures...that is how we differentiate between things
If anything the thread starter is being politically incorrect and overusing a stereotype...but nowhere near calling him racist...those are harsh words. IMO
fuck, i want one for my bike!

^^ look at your wing in your sig, that's ridiculous! It looks like an awning or a canopy for your car....
I really dont care what you think, obviously you're more of a car enthusiast that enjoys a near stock vehicle. Where as I enjoy taking my car to lapping days and such.Originally posted by JustinGTP

This whole paragraph you wrote is useless, let me break it down for you "it's offensive" therefore to generalize a race is considered "racist"Originally posted by schmooot

No, it's not racism. Apparently you are just too sensitive.Originally posted by Type_B

My car is not stock either. But you're saying that your massive wing actually helps you around a track? Haha, ok....Originally posted by shadowz

If he goes to lapping days at the road track --- hell yes it will help - especially on turns 5 and 6 and braking into 7.Originally posted by JustinGTP

edit: I think 5 and 6 are the full speed sweepers, haven't been on the track in over 12 years. A wing really can help there.
