Most is just stuff ordered from a site like DCC. The seat, loop, brackets, headlight..

The rest is just elbow grease and some paint.

CB750... CX500 is a flying V water cooled engine... like this

Started off as a 78 cb750k, stripped it down to frame/engine and rebuilt from there. Much easier and cheaper then building cars.

Love those bikes, why the tape on the headlights?

It's just a homage to the racers of the past that were required to tape their glass headlights on the track.

In the even of a rock smashing the light, or a crash, the tape is intended to keep the headlight together as much as possible and not spread glass on the track.

These days it doesn't serve any function except being a stylish throwback to the racing bikes that inspired the whole cafe racer movement.

Some people hate it, but they need to relax.

yup, finally got to ride it a couple times too. needs some jetting work but works a hell of a lot better with the new CDI

A local shop/distributor has a weekly meetup night. Illfatedkustoms.com

Going to swing by there around 7:00 and there should be a decent turnout.
