Glad to see you weren't hurt too badly. As we all know these things can end up pretty bad. Notwithstanding that the injuries weren't as bad as they could have been, if you wanna sue the driver that hit you, PM me.

well... start the process now. dont actually do it till just before the 2yr limit. get diagnosed asap though, and get an IME BEFORE treatment so you can get above WADII so you're not under the soft tissue cap. a physio's diagnosis wont stand up either btw.... ah what fun, the system is super flawed. document everything, keep a journal too cause you wont remember the details when you finally have to sit down for discovery. its an up hill battle unless the injuries are super obvious (paralyzed/loss of limb, etc). but that whiplash is a fucking killer, especially coupled with spine issues, like herniated discs and whatnot

Picked up a CX500 as a winter project. Super excited to see where it goes. Also my buddy grabbed a GL500 to work on, was a pretty good deal for both bikes. Will probably do a build thread as i tear her apart and get her back together and running.Name: IMG_1034.jpg

I appreciate all the kind words dudes! Finally got back on two wheels a week ago. Had to go bigger and faster obviously

Good to hear about the lawyer. As long as you know your rights and are exercising them.

The new bike looks great. I was sort of deterred after my accident and took me a while to get back on a bike, but looks like you didn't have to worry too much about that issue. Haha. Happy riding and be safe out there.

I have the same! Intake, exhaust, and power commander will solve your problem of wanting a 790!

MR2, where is your plate? Is that the integrated tail light that I keep seeing on ebay? Tempted to buy it but it comes with two different plate set ups - one with the plate at the end of the tail and one with the plate tucked under the the inner fender in front of the rear wheel.

Just picked this up last week. Always loved this bike, went to Harley to grab some parts for my wide glide, ended up taking this home. Ridiculously fun to ride, sounds incredible! Sorry for shitty pic will get some good ones when it warms up. May need to part ways with one of my bikes, running out of room

My girl. 2008 Nightster with a few customizations like bars, tank lift, stage 1, seat etc. I really like the bobber look so thats what I was going for. I didn't rid it nearly as much as I would have liked to last year with the arrival of my first kid. Now I'm tossing around the idea of trading it for a camping trailer.

No windscreen is great for around the city. But for the highway, windscreen is so, so nice to have.

Yeah, that's why I bought a detachable windshield for my Sporty this summer. Need to find a more comfortable saddle for longer rides now.

Yea my windscreen just clips onto the front forks, its all of 5 seconds to attach or detach. With the big bars on it I definitely prefer the windscreen for highway driving. That day we headed out to Highwood Pass so I had it on just to help with the whole "being a giant sail" thing. Most of the time putsing around town I'll have it off for maximum badass factor.

Exactly. The giant sail is brutal.

I also have my windscreen off for around town for ultimate badass factor. Black leather, loud pipes, tattoo's visible, open carry fake pistol..... hahahaha jk jk. Fuck there's a funny image.

Speaking of ultimate (totally not a) badass factor, I once got pulled over by the cops on Deerfoot because they claim I was doing 160+ splitting lanes weaving in and out of traffic. I had to kindly explain to the officer that there is no way in hell my little Sporty was even capable of that. I did however admit to going 110 to get away from a distracted soccer mom in a Grande Caravan. His partner realized that although my bike, leathers, and helmet were all black I was missing the big HA patch on the back so it wasn't me.

Love that there’s a few Harley guys here

    Few of my old Harley’s.

The 2012 48 was fairly stock just screaming eagle pipes and apes
The nightster was an 09 which I sold to a buddy... has a bigger motor in it now. Bunch of goodies added
2015 Dyna street bob I did up sold that one a couple summers ago

Now I have a 2013 Dyna FXDB in big blue pearl. LOTS of goodies on the bike. Wild ones 14” T bars, RSD grips/pegs, Daymaker, S&S breather, Vance and Hines 2 into 1 and tuner, full legend suspension front and back. Got a full fender conversion on the way to get rid of the chopper factory fender. Will be doing intergrated rear tail light with it. Memphis shades road warrior fairing I’ll colour match too. Got a wicked new 2 up wall seat for it as well. May end up selling my 2up drag specialties one in the spring some time
