Because people import these cars because they are "fast" and drive like asshats in them more often than they do with domestic junkyard cars. That said, we should have required yearly safety inspections and maybe even emissions testing, that would take most of the pieces of shit off our roads. The solution isn't blocking Japanese imports, but rather properly testing the cars that are on our road.

My only problem with these cars is the idiots driving them. Think they are in a ferrari or something when really they are driving a $4000 junker. Then they stare you down and rev the engine when its not even a gtr
