    Just watched this on blu-ray. Normally, I'm not a fan of many chinese movies because of how horribly acted, directed, storyline, and scripted they are. But this one made me want this movie to never end.

    Great action, acting, and entertainment factor. The story line was also great! It's based on a true story of the life of Bruce Lee's martial arts teacher.

    Just thought i'd share to fellow beyonders who need a new flick to watch.

    If you enjoy this movie, Ip Man 2 is coming out also

    cant believe no one replied to this. i fucking LOVED this movie. acting was great, fight scenes were very realistic as i hate watching crouching tiger bullshit floating in trees. i definitely recommend this movie to any drama or action movie lover.

    the fact that its based on a true story is just fucking amazing.

    Both movies were great. They were being passed around in class a few sundays ago. As you can imagine lots of martial arts buffs in a martial arts class.

    Guess some of the fight stuff (double fisted knockout or whatever it was) is actually based on accounts from people there.

    Ip Man is better than Ip Man 2 imo. I have The Legend is Born Ip Man at my desk right now, this is supposed to be the prequel.

    Heard there's a #3 also? Can someone confirm?

    I find foreign movies make it on netflix the next day it seems. All of the millennium series are on there already.

    Played with fire was good (not QUITE that good). I hear the book is better. Havent watched 3 yet. Going to do that after the race tonight I think.

    number two was okay, the first is alwasy better and the prequel isnt as good. well at least i didnt like it.

    was looking for girl with the dragon tattoo and the others but its not on there....maybe the US version, but its not on the canadian version...
