The price is OBO, I was expecting all sorts of lowballs If nobody wants it, I'll be returning it when I go to Houston on the 6th.

Yes, until the iPad comes out in Canada you'll need a US Apple Store account to go that route. There's ways to arrange this...

No you don't. Go to Settings > General > International > Region Format > Change from United States to Canada, and there you go. I figured this out way back when the 2.0 Firmware came out for the iPod touch and it told me that I needed a U.S. iTunes Accounts.

Just a note. Apple recently updated their EULA to address this loophole. (if you're in any way concerned about EULAs)
