Yeah down all day too.
Any word?
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
-H.P. Lovecraft
I am back online finally after being down all day.
My phone is now working. Got connectivity back after the end of my work day just as I reach my car in the parking lot. How convenient.
Should have switched to lightspeed like @Mar .
Seems like it might have been an Ericsson software update.
Just another reason to use Huawei, Chinese programmers know computer logic because they live in the matrix.
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
But was freedom working today?

This sounds like more of a mobile telecom issue. Usually when something like this happens, it's only on certain hardware so you can get around it by temporarily forcing your phone to use older technology. In your SIM settings you can usually choose 3G, 4G or 5G (I hate that naming convention). Set it to one or the other and see if that fixes it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Jesus man, I know you like Transformers, but you need to get out more. No one should get this upset over a movie based on children's toys.

Rogers blaming Ericsson for an errant update on their hardware - there is no way they have a single point of failure like that can disrupt the entire continent. I think SHAW used a similar excuse some years ago for their outage (blamed cisco).
Also the sheer amount of downtime indicates something much more serious.
If I had to guess it might be some sort of root control. My fido tablet installed an app with icon that I did not download. It literally only has three apps on it too, POGO, Arknights and Spotify of which I keep it squeaky clean for smooth gameplay. Apps just don't install themselves and create icons on the screen spontaneously.
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
sweet, looks like everyone is gonna get 20cents CREDIT for the down time we had to suffered through yesterday.
