I also thought you were saying Cocoa was the one that helped you,
there's a thread in this section about a BMW shops, but to add to that list there is Sheni's as well that other members recommend.

These guys seriously know WTF they're doing.

$1500 to swap my tranny from the SMG to the typical 6speed manual. Other (tranny specific) shops quoted me over $10k, and with no guarantee it would even work.

That $1500 included the ECU mod, and all the wiring mods needed. What other shop in Calgary can offer that kind of service?

My car is at Motorwerkes right now. I'm very happy with the inspection they did and the guy know his stuff (I had my car for inspection at the dealer 2 days before and the dealer did not find anything where parm found at least 4 things that should've been noted on the dealer report)

even with the stupid and childish thread on them (from last year) I feel very confident in Parm's work. The more I read that thread, the more I wanted to go check for myself.. and I'm glad I did.

There exists no closer relationship than a BMW owner and his non dealership mechanic. Once you find one, they are golden.

Yeah ok parm, it's so obvious you or or friends keep signing up to write bullshit reviews

Lets see. Newbie, one post, in this forum, and bumps an old thread.

I'm glad you guys are not working for the police because you're the worse detectives ever.

First, About this being my first post, I registered here because I planned on buying a member's car (this one: http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.p...hreadid=292658) and needed to be a member to send a private message as the ad on kijiji did refer to here and there was no means of contacting the member. You can even see my join date, which is not today at all... strike one on your detective skills.

Second, I read that year old thread because, as anyone that is a little internet savvy, I have googled about motorwerkes and found the said thread.

    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=motorwerkes+calgary

check the 1st link after the official webpage... It was quite easy to find. Strike two on your detective skills

Now that year old thread went sour because of you anyway, so I wasn't expecting love, the only one we hear bitching about motorwerkes are people that have never been there (i.e. were quoted one hour work minimum and bitched for like 5 pages) or heard rumours of a joy ride.

Most customers (I said customers, people that have actually had their BMW worked on over there, not internet geeks) have positive reviews, here and on other forums too.

I just wanted to say that I was happy with the work done, and that they did a WAY better inspection that the BMW dealer where my car was 2 days before. Where BMW dealer did not find anything with the car, motorwerkes did find a lot if small stuff. I wish I would've done the PPI there instead of the dealer.

I don't know Parm, I don't know anyone that knows him, I'm 100% neutral in this thing. Strike three on your detective skills. Now stop trying.

On this note, I'll go enjoy my M3 and leave you guys debate on an internet forum. I hope people looking for a good place to have their cars worked on in Calgary will go see by themselves instead of reading reviews of people that never did business with them.

It has nothing to do with being a detective retard. I am sharing my personal experiance. IMO if I have taken 3 cars to him and have been un satisfied 3 times, then I have the right to share my opinion. So kindly remove your fathers fingers from your naughty hole and quit life.
