This is an 75% completed project, everything done except the body work & paint. I have 2 new rear 1/4 panels
& 1 front fender that need to be installed.
The car is a full load Z28(T roof) with an upgraded interior & drivetrain. Power windows, door locks, power steering, power brakes,tilt steering. Engine is a sbc 406(.030 over 400), 11:1 hypereutectic pistons, Pro Topline 220cc heads, Comp Cam 282S solid lifter cam, roller rockers,
Edelbrock Vic Jr intake & Holley 750 double pumper. The engine has 200 or so miles on it & runs fine on 94 octane premium.
Tranny is a TH350 with a Transgo stage 2 shift kit & a B&M 3000 Holeshot converter. Rear end is a 3.08 posi
with traction bars & welded axle tubes. Wheels are 15 X 8 & 15 X 7 Weld Wheel Pro Stars. It has polyurathane
subframe bushings & bolt in subframe connectors. The interior has new carpet, door panels, aftermarket seats
& gauges. I built this to be a street cruiser/drag strip car but can't run 2 cars this season so I'm going to
concentrate on my other one.
I had this car out at the race track 3 weeks ago testing the timing system & it ran a 14.02@103mph on a
un-prepped track, I couldn't floor it till 1/2 track. The car should run a low 13 or high 12 second 1/4 mile
with traction.
