Saw this guy going the opposite direction on McKnight at 4AM on a Tuesday morning. Did a U turn and caught up. I was really hoping he was going to turn onto Stoney Tr. so I could see this thing let loose, but he continued down some random country road instead. Why else would you be driving a car like that at a time like that? To fuck shit up!

Most of the sound you are hearing is compressor surge, the faint whoosh at the end is the bov purge, the rest is surge.

Perfectly set imo, I'm a big fan of surge.

The surge isn't usually that vocal, but the turbo probably has some sort of 'intake' tube attached to the air inlet, with a filter at the end, that's what amplifies the surge sound.

Bang on. It's an ebay SSQV with the noise fins removed, and there's an intake tube on the compressor inlet.
