I get the whole protesting thing here, but why even bother? I mean, you know it's going to piss off a whole ton of people. This is going to cause way more problems than it solves and IMO is just not worth it. Mocking Islam is not the way to win friends in that community.

They aren't mocking Islam. They're mocking the fact that many Islam followers seem to think just because THEY can't draw Mohamed, that no one else can either.

This is not about mocking islam its about our rights and freedoms under pressure from a so called peaceful religion.

You can not demand censorship with threats of death. That is not what western culture and free speech is all about.

Yeah. There's a huge debate going on. I'm impressed that the page is self moderating so much as well. Though the moderators are having problems keeping up with all the really nasty hate speech.

The thought running though my head is: would you still want to draw him if it didn't irk somebody? The only reason it's a problem is that people take issue to it. I don't agree with the violent means that some of them are reacting to it, but all this really does is add fuel to the fire.
