    Default Recommendation for renter's insurance?

I've got a place here in Lloydminster with a bunch of stuff in it.. since I'm on a 10 and 4 shift working long days, I am away from this place a lot and its got my plasma, xbox, ps3, a bunch of guitar shit here, my gaming computer, basically a bunch of stuff that would really suck to have stolen.

I want to pick up renter's insurance so I have a couple questions...
    - what is the ballpark price for an actual replacement value policy per month?
    - any particular providers you would recommend?

I am with RBC, only because there is a small discount with the automobile insurance package. I think I pay about $10 a month for 30K, call around and get the best price.

If you guys are both getting a package deal on home + auto I'll phone up State Farm first.. but then they might hassle me about my relocation. hmm
Considering how much I was prepared to pay, that seems like a bargain.. $20/month for my peace of mind? Sold.

Went with RBC, $14 a month for far more than anything I own is worth. By bundling it with my car ins I saved $10 a month!
    Can't argue with $4 a month

My renters insurance for 60,000 was something like $20.00 a month. My home insurance is about the same now (townhouse so the structure isnt insured).

All my insurance needs are run through Masked Bandit.

When I was renting, the discount I got on my car insurance through Meloche Monnex was more than the cost of the renters insurance, so in the end, they paid me to insure my stuff.
    That was a good deal.

I am with Wawanesa because they have great service in the event of a claim. I'm in claims but not for Wawanesa
