Is anyone else having problems signing onto xbox live right now?
A mtu message keeps telling me that my mtu is insuffient setting 1364 is minimum. Mine is set to be at 1500 right now.
So i'm just wondering if xbox live is down.

currently working for me
anyone know how to fix this MTU issue?
I've changed my mtu to 1500, still not working
There's only two things that smell like <º))))>< ...one of them is <º))))><
Life is like a dick, sometimes it gets hard for no reason.
i'm still having no luck fixing this isssue.
Are you on Shaw or Telus? Plug your xbox straight into the cablemodem or DSL modem, and see if it works. If it works, it's a problem with your router. If it still doesn't work, then the ISP has the MTU set too low and you have to call them to troubleshoot, since you can't control their MTU settings.

I have gone above and beyond what I should rightfully have to do to protect my good name
Xbox live worked for me around 6pm then it did not work around 8pm
i'm also on telus using a linksys router wrt54gs and the telus wireless adsl gateway
Try plugging the xbox straight into the dsl modem with a network cable (no wireless). See if that works.
Also if you're using the wireless telus gateway, why do you have a linksys wireless router? You shouldn't have to use the linksys at all. You can connect straight to the telus wireless.

i'm using the linksys router as well because I thought the linksys would be a better router than the telus one.
I disabled the wireless mode on the telus one when i'm using the linksys router.
I'm also not using the official microsoft wireless adapter.
I'm using the bridging method to get wireless for the xbox 360.
I'm not sure if that's the problem but I hope someone will know.
I will try to plug the 360 directly to the modem tomorrow.
anyone think this can be fixed just by using the official wireless adapter?
well i disabled firewall on router and it worked.
i guess some ports were blocked.
