Apple's first retail store in Japan...longest wait line ever!

This must have broken some sort of world record. It's a vid showing the line up outside of the first Apple retail store in Tokyo.

That lineup is crazy! Must have been a giveaway of some sort for so many people to show up.

That wasn't the line up to go in the store and buy stuff, it was the lineup for customer service where people would bring back their macs and ipods to get refunds or warranty work. In some cases people were lining up to pick up new ipods because the battery died!

I know, seriously though. Why wait outside in the what looked like the rain...when you could just sit inside and browse the Apple website instead? No lineups, no crowds and no crazy ass customer who wants the very last ipod.

I'll never be able to understand those Japs. Well, no more browsing the net, gotta study for my geophysics exam tomrrow!
