I will go with it because I didn't know. But I would most certainly say that he was gonna die knowing this.

He was terminal...which I think makes the pick invalid. I mean, he was hospitalized prior to the thread even being started.

I'll respect the judge's decision though

Unless someone can find an article published prior to May 31st that mentions John Wooden being hospitalized on May 26th I will judge the pick as valid. The search for articles is good for today and if no articles are found then CKY will be declared the winner tomorrow.

That said, there is going to be far more scrutiny of the definition of "celebrity" for following rounds.

Choosing obscure people whose name wouldn't be recognized by a large percentage of the population may be deemed invalid.

A-list celebs, sports figures and politicians will be required for picks in following rounds.
