It would be worth going just to see that 89 Countach with 1000 org miles

I think that Countach is one of the auction owners personal cars. If not, he has an identical one in his warehouse.
It's very, very clean.

I'll be there, I'm driving some of the cars where the owners are absent. I think I get the Bentley & a couple of Ferrari's.

Well the Bentley didn't show & the Ferrari's all had drivers so I was supposed to drive the 1000 mile Countach, got in & fired it up but then got taken off it to drive the 1968 Camaro with 2919 original miles.
Unbelievable car, so perfect it was scary. I ended up driving a bunch more, another 68 Camaro, a 1970 GTO, RCMP highway interceptor, custon S10, JDM Land Cruiser & pushing a few more that didn't run.

Had fun, met a bunch of decent people, it was a good time in general & I didn't get a chance to take a single picture.

As usual not much actually sold. Most of the cars had reserves that were too high for today's market - especially for an auction where you don't have the opportunity to get a full and proper inspection. I bid on one of the 88 Jaguar XJS V12s for shits and giggles. They are nice looking cars that I know really aren't worth much - mostly because the engines are so expensive to work on. Some day I would like to add a Ferrari to the fleet but definately not a car to buy without having it all checked over since repairs can quickly inflate the purchase price.

very slow auction for the high end cars i wanted to see some sell

Well the Countach sold for $130K, the 68 Camaro for $51K, I though those were both pretty decent prices considering the economy.

Some of the really high end Ferrari's I think were just there to show off, nobody was getting serious about them once they hit the ring.
