Yeah the EJ1 sold.now im just driving my 91 camry sedan,5 spd with a clutch that yu cant shift hard with or it just slips.clutch springs are too soft,lol.but i can atleast launch.i tried out my launch on barlow tr.Haha.

I speak from experience in saying this is the correct answer. Anything slower will not require one.

As mentioned though I'd say if your car is 15's or faster bring one if you have one since it's always safer.

Yup that sounds about right, I talked to CSCC on Thursday night and things have been set in motion to get things setup and running within the next 1-2 weeks.

After a couple crap runs playing with my launch I cooked off a 14.035 at 102.41

Then took out the spare tire and tool kit and ran 14.041 at 103.12

Once I get my 13.xxx slip I'm just gonna autocross/track it, no more drag racing probably haha.

How would they know what your et is before you race? Or are you talking about for AutoX only?

I'd love to AutoX my Corvette just to see what it can do around corners; I've been too careful to try it anywhere else...

Some quick cars tonight. There was a new Shelby Mustang with a Whipple blower on it running 11's.

Some Silvias with huge turbo's but terrible hook up / fueling problems that were kinda neat too.

All in all a pretty good night considering the weather.

Nah I mean once I get a 13something out of it, that's all I'm going to get with street tires. So I'm just going to autocross instead.

I ran a 17.6 at 77 mph I was a little disappointed but it was my first time out and didn't know what to expect. I guess all in all not bad for only 106 hp and really long tranny gears. When I crossed the line I was only doing 5500 rpm in third gear.

I saw a run from Sentry and I was very impressed. Got to see Mr ET's new engine in his civic. Looks and sounds amazing

i need to have my truck re-tuned, because thats slower than stock
AND i ran a 13.7 in toronto with less mods

I nailed down a handful of 10.4xx@132mph runs, couldn't quite get the traction I was looking for though. My 60ft times were only 1.7's instead of the 1.4's I was getting last year.

On an important side note: the donation's to the VHT fund has been terrible the last 2 events, $44 one night & $35 last night.

Come on guys, we need about $80 to $100 each night to cover the costs & if the donations don't pick up, the VHT will end quickly.
From what we raised so far, we can cover the cost to the end of June & then no more traction.

All we are asking is $1 from each driver, there is a silver box in the tech line up, drop a loonie(or more) in each week if you want any chance to hook up.
