Today is National Whopper day, $1.69 whoppers all day long, and FYI the Crowfoot BK is open til 2am everyday now IIRC.

so anyone wanting to go... I would give the location a shout before otherwise you will come home with sad double cheeseburgers like I did. I was too irritated to pay full price at that point for whoppers.

Maybe its a marketing plow to bring people into their stores and then say there is no deal and people are already there so they will get something else instead.

I dont mean to harp on this thread as im all for good deals but hands down the whopper is one of the nastiest burgers ive ever had. I havnt had one in a while so I cant say exactly what makes it disgusting but from recollection its the huge amounts of sauce they put on it, huge gobs of mayo, ketchup and mustard. The veggies werent great either, this is fast food so my standards aren't that high. Alot of the time its kind of like that scene from "falling down" when michael douglas walks into that fast food joint wanting a burger and on the pictures on the menu it looks enticing but once you get it looks like leftovers someone grabbed out of the dumpster.
