might be screwed...
I had tinted my tail lights the previous day. I washed, taped off the white portion (reverse lights), wet sanded and did 2 coats of vht nightshades on them and they came out nicely this morning all dried, so I stuck them back in before I went to work this morning. Got home and started fiddling around with the speakers, getting measurements and taking them out for when I get my new ones. Then I drove to C-Tire to check out some speakers... (found some good ones around 200 watts, my stock ones are 30 watts). I might have gone 10-15 over a 30 zone unknowingly... and did an illegal u-turn in a quiet road, but other than that I drove conservatively as I need to get my front-outer CV boots & joints replaced (hearing some clicking...).
Anyways I get home from C-Tire and resume taking out the rear speaker mounts, tightening up the nuts for the tail lights, and re-wiring the stereo deck and a peace officer truck was doing a drive by of my area. I assumed he was patrolling since there was a road block where like 50 kids and their parents were playing street hockey near my place. I live in a cul-de-sac and he drives around it then parks on the other side and stays there for like 10-15 minutes while I'm working on my car. My trunk is up half way, all 4 doors are open (regretted not backing in to my drive way like I was planning on but got lazy) and I catch a glimpse of him while I'm laying in the trunk doing stuff so I just continue doing my thing as to not look bothered by his presence. At that point I thought maybe he thought I broke in to the car and he was keeping an eye on me, then I was like "oh sh!t maybe it's my tail lights...".
He did not get out of the vehicle.
I'm freaking out right now...
What could this mean...?
