Good Day, Beyond, this is going to be a long one:
I rarely ask for your aid in these types of things, well, because it's never usually an issue for me.
If you have information on the whereabouts of this individual, please send me a private message:
This is the boring, but necessary stuff:
In February, I was approached on Facebook by an ex-girlfriend whom I had dated in the summer of 2003 for a short period of time. She expressed to me that her now-estranged boyfriend, Nick Purchase , was routinely and violently beating her, and had also stolen and defrauded her of upwards of $40,000.
This would be her:
(Yeah, I know)
I've been told by my sources that the domestic violence is a legitimate claim, as the police had visited their various residences on multiple occasions.
See some of the correspondence that Jacky forwarded to me during the initial stages of their break up:
Just to be clear, Jacky wasn't dating anyone or seeing anyone to my knowledge at this point, or at any time while I had been in contact with her. (I forgot to add, other than a fling or two she said she'd had before calling me with a couple of co-workers)
And further to that, she told me that Nick doesn't have a single penny to his name on the average day, he's also had his drivers license revoked. It's doubtful that he was traveling anywhere "in and out of Calgary" or to Toronto.
Now, Jacky Martens and I didn't necessarily end off on the best of terms in 2003, but regardless, it's probably a good-hearted move to put a distressed female in touch with help when they're looking to get out of violently abusive relationships. I made no exception with her, as am pretty well informed on these sorts of topics - having studied on it in the past. I figured I could aid her in responsibly and safely leaving her boyfriend, Nick Purchase.
This is the better stuff:
I suggested that Jacky record and save any of their correspondence that might articulate a threat to her or anyone else, or anything that might provide evidence against him should he act on threats of killing her. She was reluctant to forward me all of the texts he sent her, but she did send these over:
These are completely verbatim, from her phone to mine (forwarded)
These messages are coming from this fellow, Nick Purchase from Calgary:From 14033905922
-Jacky! How could you do this?
-/And you wonder why. After this dont come to my funeral you wont be welcome
-Look at it this way all you had to do was look me in the eye and tell me you had someone else and for me to go. But know its the hard way. [sic]
-I will not rest till i deal with this. And no police will stop me either. I have nothing to loose and thats a little scary. See you around. [sic]
-Or get him to deal with me id love that. Now its my game, well see who hides.
-I told you i would always go to jail if you cheated on me
-I cant help waht happens to peoples vehicles if i find out your hanging with them and hiding from me with them
Who is also sending these messages to her over facebook:
I feel the need now to assure readers that I am 110% not white-knighting this girl at all during this engagement. You don't need to believe that, but that's how it is.
At this point, I hadn't seen Jacky, and she tells me that she hasn't left her house, but to go to work and visit her friend Pam.
The good stuff:
Fast forward to March. It's starting to be finals time for most of you, and myself. At this point, I had told Jacky that if she wasn't prepared to follow up on the resources I provided her with, that I wasn't interested in maintaining communication with her.
One evening I received a panicked phone call saying that Nick was standing at the door of her friends home trying to break in. This was of course at 3am after her work shift at the Calgary Coop Gas bar. (Hey, some people's careers blossom sooner than others) I recommended that she notify the police, and let me go back to sleep.
On another instance, Jacky texted me saying that she had seen Nick driving down the street, and that the side door of her parents home had the marks of a crowbar prying at it, on it.
Nutshell: Instead of contacting police, or going to the court buildings to obtain a restraining order, Jacky figured I would magically make her non-copus-mentus boyfriend stop hassling her, her friends, and her family, and get all of her money back for her.
The best stuff:
So, with failed attempts at getting the girl to commit to a more official departure from her estranged boyfriend, I tell Jacky I don't want to talk to her anymore. In the past, that would have been enough for her to walk. Instead, she offers herself up to me in another capacity:
-Jacky admits that her and her boyfriend, Nick Purchase borrowed her brothers car to come to my home and smash the back window out of my car in 2004
-Jacky offers me cash to repay the costs of the window
-Jacky offers me dinner and a night out.
-CUG Obliges to the latter 2, and notes the former.
A conversation with Jackys brother:
This happened a couple more times before she got the hint that I wasn't into it any longer. She picked herself up and left.
The Awesome
Typically, people who commit property crimes involving vandalism are looking for recognition. I'm not going to give Nick Purchase that here, but I will say that a cowardly act of vandalism occurred.
If you recall the earlier wall of text from Nick Purchase describing how he's a serious dude, it might lead you to wonder why such a self-proclaimed badass would wait until 4:28AM, while everyone is in bed sound asleep, to strike.
Jacky explained to me that he liked to operate in the early hours of the morning because he wouldn't ever get caught. She described how Nick would try to follow people home who kicked him out of night clubs and try to smash the windows out of their vehicles, that it was his favorite way of getting back at people.
She told me how Nick Purchase defrauded numerous landlords out of thousands of dollars of rent by cutting bad checks, and utilizing the landlord-tennant act to secure residence for prolonged periods of time.
Jacky went on to explain that Nick described himself as a hustler, and a drug dealer, but had to stop after he pissed off a legitimate OG group of Celtic gentlemen at a nightclub, and almost had his ribcage collapsed.
More recently, Nick Purchase was barred from the Rusty Cage North for walking out on his bill, coming back to pay it only to act extremely rude to the waitress, threaten the security staff, and being forced to run out after patrons began posturing on him.
Further investigation into this reveals that Nick Purchase and Jacky Martens are now back together, possibly living with each other. When Nick Purchase and Jacky Martens were questioned about their involvement in the vandalism that occurred on my property, Jacky said that she was with Nick that night. Nick repeatedly told the police officer to go fuck himself and that he had nothing on him.
Nick is no stranger to police visits, as his record reflects that of a nuisance criminal, a pest, if you will, and it's even come to light that Jacky's brother upped bail money for him on one occasion. Nick missed the court date, and her brother lost his money. (Third party information of questionable reliability)
I'm not a criminal, so my interests in finding Nick lay purely in serving this fine young gentleman with a restraining order, and possibly a civil suit for the 2004 damages. I will pay a small cash reward for usable and credible information on his whereabouts, be it his living arrangements, or frequent hangouts and places of employ (if any).
Jacky's guilt in this matter revolves around showing her classy boyfriend where I live, on two separate occasions now. She can sink with the ship too

Long read, but I figured it might throw some kick into your rainy Monday morning, and we all know how beyond CSI likes to roll.
Adding some more photo's of Nick. You can never be too thorough:
Easy there, Cowboy:
Edit (after 4 pages of replies):
Mr. Purchase, if you're reading this, your debt to me is starting to stack up pretty big.
If you decide that you wish to get your life in order, and repay your debts to the law-abiding and good citizens you've made the subject of your temper-tantrums, your cash debt is $3000.00 (this includes punitive damages, as well as my hourly rates related to your activities and other costs). Upon receiving that amount in Cash, with a receipt from your bank, and confirmation of the legitimacy of the currency, I will ask the Administration of Beyond.ca, a website receiving over 200,000 unique hits per day, to remove this content.
Your antics are now in the public eye. There are several affluent members of this site, ranging from business owners, to managers and professionals of all types. I need to make it clear that this isn't some teenager ricer website. I would pay mind to this, if I were you. Typically from this point, lack of cooperation only makes things much worse.
