Default Car break ins/ thefts last night

Did anyone else have their car broken into? Looks like they used a screw drivers... Should I report it to the police if the only thing stolen was an iPod ?

On a side note anyone have a touch for sale?

I'd still report it no matter what. Who know's how many people this happened too...

If they do catch the guy, every report made against him will for sure matter.

I would, as long as you have the box. Cause just in case they do get caught you can get it back, and the thief can't pawn it

Chances are he will have the stuff pawned by today, this theif seems like one that walks around blocks with a screw driver. Good thing is they didn't take something sitting beside the iPod that has 3x the value...

It's not so much the cost of replacing the iPod I'm annoyed about, it's the fact that these losers can walk around stealing stuff from peoples property. Hope they all get caught

You can actually fill out a report online for theft from vechile. Saves you the hassle of having to go into the station, but the police will have a record, and may notice a pattern.

How about a radar detector/deck/ sub and amp? Luckily I have a loud alarm with flashing lights so they probably got scared and ran

How about not telling people on a forum since you also told them where you live.

Thieves have a much easier time now because people share so much personal info online and some of us drive old cars that are easy to break into.

He may even be reading this thread right now, don't help him steal more of your stuff man.

I hope he gets caught and I would also recommend reporting it.

They say you should report it, as pp said, they can find patterns or if crime is increasing they police the area more etc...

Accually, your not the only one to loose an ipod touch in that neck of the woods today. Just a hop skip and a jump over in odgen a fellow employee stole another employees ipod on his lunch break. He was quite surprised to see the instant replay on camera, over and over again.
Life is too short to drive boring cars.
