Lotto Max $50 Million Tonight

The Lotto Max jackpot is set for $50 mil tonight with 20 $1 mil prizes as well. I rarely buy tickets except for big ones like these as i know the odds are extremely low Who else is getting a ticket?

From my understanding your chances are the same as it is just random numbers and a payout is not guaranteed. I remember a couple years back in grade 12 we looked up the probability of a single ticket winning and its about 1 in 12 million or something like that (off the top of my head so i am not too sure how accurate that is).

Sorry that is what I meant. If everyone buys a ticket tomorrow and 36 million tickets are sold then 10/20 tickets could win the 50 million. If only 10 million people buy the 4 or 5 million tickets you stand a chance of winning the jackpot yourself.

^^ just ask for a lotto max and they will ask you if you want the extra for a dollar. It is $6.00 in total.

Dont be a fool and not buy the extra, remember those threads where people check and they would have won the extra but they never entered.

ticket is $5, give you 3 sets of numbers, you can pick your own, or ask for a "quick pick" at the register, the cashier will press the quick pick button and hand you a ticket

I bought one last week...what a gongshow. I got 1 number out of a series of 6 hahaha. How the people play the lotto so consistently I have no idea. It takes out any motivation just seeing how far off you were from winning lol.

Just bought mine. Here's my plan for when I win the $50 Million:

Firstly - I would invest enough so that if everything else went wrong, I would be able to survive on the investments.

$1,000,000 to my Parent's and In-Laws.

$500,000 to each sibling - with the understanding that they will never ask for anything else.

Set up a Business College in the Province in the Philippines where I spent a couple years.

Materialistic stuff:

1) Buy a new house - mid-sized 2 storey on a small acreage in Springbank.
2) Buy a 2011 Sequoia - Fully pimped out by Tunerworks. For the family.
3) Buy one of the last remaining Vipers - Fully pimped out by Hennessey. For me.
4) Buy an STi - Fully pimped out by Tunerworks. Daily Driver
4.5) Buy a Nissan Titan - Have it tastefully modded.
5) Toys: Ducatti, Dirtbike, Quad, Ski-doo (two of each).
6) Go back to school for an MBA - Graduate - Start new business.

20 million into an investment that is locked for 90 days unless under emergency situations. 1/2 of profit is reinvested and other 1/2 is deposited into my bank account.

10 million to spread around the family (6 brothers and sisters, 3 parental units)

10 million to do a crazy world trip, take all my friends to a bunch of F1 races, give them money so they dont have to work for a few months, travel to every place I want to, buy some crazy shit, etc.

10 million into my chequing account to buy a house in Vancouver, one in Summerland or Vernon, and to start up my own consulting business.

Don't forget the 20million in taxes.
