    Default Bull Riding / Rodeo

    Simple question..

I've never done bull riding and I wanted to give it a shot. Can I just show up to a rodeo at random and try it out?

    Try a mechanical bull first.

Because i f you've never rode a bull before i can't think of anyplace that would let you jump on one to try,its dangerous, there are still places with mechanical bulls to try,its alot safer.

lol.. Do people who contemplate riding a 2000lb angry cow really concern themselves with safety?

I believe there are rodeo schools/classes kicking around outside Calgary. I think there is one run by Allen Girletz at his place, the Girletz Ranch.

Wrong again. But I googled a couple for shits and giggles and found a couple schools.

There are more urban/city cowboys than ever now. If you train hard and are prepared to have your body pretty much ruined then there's actually pretty decent money to be made. Gotta start young though. I'd love to take on a bull before I die...maybe a few seconds before I die!
Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You would need to be duct taped to the bull, and wearing adult diapers. You have no idea of what a bull is able to do, they are fucking massive and strong.

City kids.... I will pay the fee just to see you get your spine handed to you in a garbage bag.

I would rather do three minutes in the ring with a top MMA fighter. At least there is a ref.

These are pros, you gonna be better?
