Secret Street for June 18

Once again it appears that the weather will break for Friday June 18th and we should be able to run the Friday Secret Street Event. If any thing changes we will post it on Friday at noon.

In conjunction with the CDRA's Father's Day Funny Car Classic, the Motorsport Council of Calgary is adding a new twist to the popular Friday Night Secret Street program. In preparation for the "Big Show" Saturday and Sunday. Friday night will be Father's Day with free Fathers Racer Admission.

Motorsports is a family affair and we like to encourage all the Fathers of our regular Friday night Secret Street customers to come out and play with their kids by making a dragstrip pass with their son's/daughter's.
When a Father accompanies their son or daughter to this Fridays event, they will get a free 2nd driver entry. Father and son/daughter must present proof of relationship with a valid drivers license for both.

We will also run the perfect reaction time (.000) contest as we have the last three weeks.

Gates open at 6:00PM with time trials taking place at 7:00PM.

Hope to see all the Fathers out there.

I couldn't believe the track was open today after the weather yesterday. Got a lot of runs in. 7 or 8 passes.

The first three I couldn't figure out why my car would die in fourth gear... Then I realized I was running out of gas. Hit the Flying J and splashed in a couple litres and away I went.

Spinning pretty harshly through second tonight too. Open diff makes it kind of wild slamming it home into second and holding the car straight ish. Overall not shabby though. Had some good races with a MS3 and an SRT4.

Still looking for that 13.99

Ended up with a [email protected] would have been better but I shifted late further down the track and it cost me some speed.

Also had a personal best for a 60', a 1.81; I was very happy with that.

If the stars align I think there is a 13.4X in the RSTi, I just have to find it
