Beyond Vote Rigging - Good Cause - Help a 10yr Old Kid! #43!
Hey Y'all,
This is for a very good friend of mine's little brother, Barron.
He is just turning 10 years old. He was diagnosed with Narcolepsy a while back and since then has had a really tough time. Narcolepsy is when you fall asleep uncontrollably. As a part of this he also experiences Cataplexy. Basically, whenever he experiences emotions (ie Laughter, Fun, Excitement) his body shuts down into a seizure like state. It is the most heart wrenching thing I have ever seen. He has learned not to laugh or have fun and he's only 10 years old!!
His family has taken him to every specialist in Canada and even to some specialists in the US but no one has been able to help. They are fighting with the Canadian government for funding for experimental drugs that may help his condition.
One of the reasons there are no treatments available, is there has not been enough research done on narcolepsy. He is an awesome little guy and needs your help!
